Meet Mark MillerManaging Director of Miller Advisory Services, LLC

Through volatile markets, crashes, recessions and upswings, Mark Miller has helped businesses find their way to continued profitability with his expertise, relationships, and professionalism.

Mark Miller and his former long-time partners, Morris Gold and the late Alan Meyer, are known names in the finance world.

Together they operated as Alan M. Meyer & Associates for a quarter-century, helping hundreds of companies grow through acquisition, financing, and divestiture. Distressed as well as healthy companies have benefited from their expertise.

Mark has a background as an attorney engaged in corporate and commercial law. He migrated to managing investment banking processes for companies to facilitate successful outcomes involving control transactions, financing, strategic and succession planning, and other matters.

He has served as an expert on company viability and marketability on behalf of a court-appointed receiver as well an advisor on business transaction issues to the defense team in a multi-million-dollar commercial litigation. His experience includes working with companies, owners, buyers, and management teams spanning a diverse range of industries.

In the community, he has worked with the Citizens United to Reform Education (CURE) to develop legislation that served as the foundation of Chicago Public School Reform. He also chaired the Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Professional Responsibility Committee where he helped generate recommendations for updating the American Bar Association’s Code of Professional Responsibility.

Although not currently practicing law, Mark retains his law license. He has earned his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, BA from Loyola University in Chicago and JD from the University of Illinois.
